Homecoming Oct. 3 2014 vs. Parkside

With our annual homecoming game coming up listed below is a list of our spirit week festivities.

KIHS HOMECOMING 2014 Defenders of the Night (Superhero themed)

Pep Rally- Friday, October 3^rd, 1:15pm

Students participating in the pep rally will have a wrist band with their name and time of dismissal to the stadium.

Parade- Friday, October 3^rd, 5:00pm, downtown Stevensville; beginning at Bayside Elementary and ending at Kent Island High School

Dance- Saturday, October 4^th, 8-11pm. Volunteers to spend the evening with our students at the dance will be greatly appreciated. Please see me or send an email, Thank you!

Door Decorating Contest- Hardee’s breakfast sandwiches for the winning classes (one for main campus and one for Annex) The SGA is asking 1^st pd classes to have doors decorated by the conclusion of 1^st pd Thursday, October 2^nd for judging on Thursday afternoon.

A few rules…

*Decorations relating to our theme, DEFENDERS OF THE NIGHT, are encouraged.

*You may not go down the hallway and decorate lockers, just doors and the surrounding “cubby” space.

*No messy items (i.e. sand, water, ice, etc.)

*BE CREATIVE!

5. Car Competition- 1^st pd, Friday, October 3^rd in the parking lot adjacent to the stadium. Teachers with 1^st pd planning are requested to judge the competition. Winning vehicles will appear in Friday’s parade. Again, please see or email me!

Homecoming Court- Voting will take place Tuesday, September 30^th, 1^st pd at the main campus, 2^nd pd at the Annex. Winners and Senior Court will be announced at the Pep Rally.
