Four Kent Island High School Athletes to Sign College Commitment

Zach Goodrich (Towson Lacrosse), Summer Abdalla (Central Michigan Lacrosse), Kylie Haarhoff (Campbell University Lacrosse), and Kelsey Woodall (Barton College Golf) with Family

KENT ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL- On Thursday evening at their Fall Sports Awards Kent Island High School Recognized 4 scholar athletes who have signed National Letters of Intent.  Zach Goodrich (Towson Lacrosse), Summer Abdalla (Central Michigan Lacrosse), Kylie Haarhoff (Campbell University Lacrosse), and Kelsey Woodall (Barton College Golf).

Zach Goodrich: A 3 season Varsity Athlete.  3 year Varsity Football Player, 2 Year Varsity Basketball Player, and a 4 Year Varsity Lacrosse team member.  Zach is a state lacrosse champion, 1st team All Maryland Lacrosse Player and a Lacrosse All American.  Zach will be going to Towson University to play lacrosse next year.

Summer Abdalla:  2 Season Varsity Athlete:  3 Year Varsity soccer player and a 4 year varsity starter in lacrosse.  Summer will be going to Central Michigan University to play lacrosse.

Kylie Haarhoff: 3 Season Varsity Athlete:  4 years as a cheerleader in the fall and winter and a 4 year Varsity Lacrosse Player.  Yesterday Kylie was competing as part of our Varsity Cheerleading State Finalist Team.  Kylie will be attending Campbell University to play lacrosse.

Kelsey Woodall: 3 Year Varsity Golf team member:  Kelsey was the first female golfer making our team co-ed.  She was the 2013 and 2014 Female Bayside Conference Female Player of the Year.  Also one of the top 20 Bayside golfers in 2013 and 2014, the only golfer this year male or female to qualify from the Bayside Conference to participate in the State tournament, and Kelsey is the 5th ranked female 1a/2a golfer in the state of Maryland.
